Change is the one constant in today's world. Whether the stressors to the organization are external or internal you can either be at the mercy of these challenges or approach a resolution proactively. There are
powerful methods of enabling organizations and individuals to achieve transformations by clarifying their mission and re-aligning actions accordingly.
When dealing with a company or organization or team, it is important to identify what needs to be changed and at which organizational level the problem/issue exists.
Constructive and enduring change starts from the adjacent logical level: the most effective interventions are implemented at a higher level, and change can also grow and expand from below.
Logical Levels are based on Gregory Bateson's studies of systems and championed by Robert Dilts. They represent a hierarchy in which each level is progressively more encompassing and impactful when change is generated. In the triangle, change rolls down. In the circle, it rolls out. While the directional square version is modeled on the native approach. This is a powerful tool for effecting organizational change: identifying where the problem is, applying the solution at a 'higher' logical level and monitoring the resulting changes.
